Volunteer

Looking for something unique for your event or organization? In the time we have been working with our minis they have traveled to hospitals, nursing homes, schools, libraries, health fairs, parades, community events, done one on one home visits and worked with various other organizations including the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, Special Olympics, and the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities.  We are always looking for new places to go where we can help people and educate others about what we do and we look forward to partnering with people of all ages and abilities

The more volunteers we have the more we can accomplish! We would love to keep adding to this amazing team. Want to be part of Tender Touch Equine? We are always looking for people with horse experience. If you would like to work with the minis or help us care for them we would be happy to teach you.  If you love the work we do, want to help out and have additional skills we are always looking for people to help with secretarial work, fundraiser and event coordinating, regular website updates and more!  Connect with us through telephone or email on our “Contact Us” page.

As you can imagine the cost of our services can get very expensive.  We do except donations from those who are blessed financially. Through generous tax deductible donations we can continue to bring comfort and healing to as many people as our time and budget will allow. We are also looking for corporate sponsors who would like to partner with our non profit.

In addition to traditional monetary donations we also have an Amazon Wish List.  This allows you to pick and choose the items you would like to donate from our list of needs that will be shipped directly to Tender Touch.  Your donations go right to the care, maintenance and travel of these animals to keep them healthy, in good shape, and able to get to those in need.

*Every one of our volunteers joined us because they are passionate about what we do, no one is paid for their service.  In addition, even though we occasionally show these horses as a training exercise when we don’t have other events, we never use donations to fund this activity.  Please see our donation page for more details!
